Why We Started Friday Flowers

Every week, we watch people walk through the door looking for something to say what words can't quite manage.

Flowers have always been the language of those moments. But somewhere along the way, we started reserving them only for the big ones — the birthdays, the anniversaries, the losses. We forgot that joy doesn't have to wait for a reason.

That's why we created Friday Flowers.

It started with a simple belief.

At The Florist at Windward, our mission has always been to spread joy — one bloom at a time. And we realized we could do more of that if we made it easier. Easier to give. Easier to receive. Easier to say I was thinking of you on an ordinary Friday, just because.

So we built something simple: every week, our florists design a limited run of 20 wrapped bouquets using the freshest, most beautiful blooms available. $45. Ready for pickup or delivery every Friday. No vase, no fuss, no special occasion required.

Because joy is most powerful when it's unexpected.

The birthday bouquet is wonderful. But the flowers that show up on a random Tuesday — or a Friday, just because — those are the ones people remember. Those are the ones that make someone feel truly seen.

Friday Flowers is our way of giving you a reason to do that every week. Pick them up for yourself. Grab an extra for a neighbor, a coworker, a friend who's been on your mind. Let us take care of the flowers so you can take care of the people you love.
